Early Years

From the young age of 4, Destiny Michelle started to have private lessons at home to play the violin. Most children were playing the recorder but Destiny begged her mother to play the violin. Her love for music grew following her performing in concerts with a youth string orchestra and singing at church.

Throughout her Secondary School days, Destiny began composing orchestral, pop music, and ensemble music, winning a local composition competition and obtaining an A* in her GCSE’s. She regularly sang solo and performed several times throughout the year with the choir at Southwark Cathedral and the Barbican and progressed into the woodwind family.
